2. What is interepreting?

Interpreting is the conversion of meaning from one language to another language, not necessarily word for word. Words do not have meaning, meaning has words.
An interpreter is a person who converts a thought or expression in a source language into an expression with the exact meaning in a target language in “real time.” The interpreter’s function is to convey every element of communication—semantic element (tone and register) and every intention and feeling of the message that the source-language speaker is directing to target-language recipients.

3. What is the difference between interpreting and translating?

Translating and interpreting are two completely different things. Translation refers to the written process of rewriting a document in a language different than the one of the original document.
Interpretation refers to the spoken process of rendering a message produced by a source language speaker so that a target language listener audience can understand it.
All our interpreters are professionals and certified by competent associations. They are specialized in different interpreting types and have command of the subjects and terminologies of different fields.

4. What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?

Consecutive Interpreting is a type of interpreting in which the interpreter speaks after the speaker of the spoken language has finished speaking. The speech is segmented and the interpreter will sit or stand next to the speaker of the source language, listening and taking notes while the speaker continues through their message. If the speaker pauses or when he or she finishes the interpreter then renders a part of the message or the entire message in the target language.
Simultaneous interpretation consists of an interpreter rendering a message in the target language as quickly as the interpreter can formulate from the source language while the speaker of the source language continuously speaks the spoken language.. Simultaneous Interpretation is the common method used by sign language interpreters.
